Tiger's Unsurprising Return

Jacob Horn
If you have read some of my earlier stuff you know that I was pretty critical of Tiger Woods in light of recent events. Let me say this, a lot of people have discounted his apologies and said that he is simply faking it. Suprisingly, I disagree. I feel like Tiger has manned up and I believe his apologies are authentic. I truly believe he wants to be a better person.

With all of that being said I was disappointed to hear that he was making his comeback at The Masters. Do not get me wrong, it makes sense from every angle. The Master's general view of women, the biggest tournament on tour, like I said it makes sense. Let me tell you why I was disappointed. I have looked everywhere and I cannot find what charity The Master's supports. Do they support one? I do not know. I would assume they do but I cannot find it. If you know please put it in the comments section at the bottom.

I was hoping Tiger would do something really drastic. I was hoping his first tournament would be somewhere like the Stanford St. Jude in Memphis. A tournament he has never come too. As its name implies, the Stanford St. Jude tournament in Memphis supports the St. Jude's cancer hospital that is located in the same town. Can you imagine if he would have played his first tournament back at that tournament? The exposure and money that would have been brought to an incredible cause, heck we would have undoubtedly been closer to curing cancer. As I said previously, I commend Tiger for the steps he has taken. I hope he gets his life back on track and he seems to be on that path. I just hope to see him in Memphis someday.
