Tim Burton 1, Lisa Marie 0

Tim Burton's Ex girl friend Lisa Marie is suing for money she feels she was cheated out of, money she says he promised her. First Lisa, you aren't cheated out of something you didn't have to begin with. Secondly, you've apparently gotten 5.5 million dollars from the guy which is more money than most people in this world will see in a lifetime. Not bad for 10 years of schmoozing with a famous director, not only did it boost your name and make you more famous than you were, you got to pocket 5.5 million dollars in the process. What are you crying about?

You say he promised you your financial needs for the rest of your life? I think Tim Burton already gave you enough to support your financial needs for life, what you don't understand is there is a big difference between financial needs, and posh living. Lisa Marie, listen very carefully, needs means food to eat and shelter to live in. Shelter does not have to cost $2.5 million and food does not have to cost $250 a plate. Did you know there are people who actually live on $10,000 per year, and all their NEEDS are met. there is this thing called a grocery store and for what you like to dine out on, you can probably buy food for a month. Nix the caviar and bring on some home barbecued hamburgers, fried chicken ain't bad either. Shelter? You can get a real nice home for half a million and you can be comfortable outside of the LA basin in a home for under $250,000. Here is a real idea, get a motor home for a couple hundred thousand and travel the country living in campgrounds in some of the most beautiful places in the world. Until you've seen real wild bears and foxes outside of your plush TV room on Animal Planet, you haven't seen wildlife. Heck, when it comes to money, I know people that write articles for $1.50 per thousand page views, and you need how many millions?

Come on Lisa, you got what you came for, besides I'm sure you'll find yourself another sugar daddy, well then again maybe you won't, the next guy might see what your doing now and avoid you like the plague. Would you blame him? Tim Burton, I hope the appeals court hold up the courts decision.

Some people are just unbelievable! Great story...

Nicely written. I cannot for the life of me see why people admire and adore some of the rich and famous at all. Their attitudes of entitlement and their wastefulness are disgusting.

This reminds me of when Heather Mills, after getting judgement of Paul McCartney's settlement, said her daughter was going to "suffer" on her child support payments of only 70,000, and will have to travel "B" class". Meanwhile, of the $50 million awarded, the judge deemed "only" 1.2 million for Heather to live on per year, and that's AFTER the 5 million allotted for a house. Poor Heather. Poor Lisa Marie. People who live this lifestyle become totally out of touch with reality.
