So far, Depp appeared in seven Burton movies including Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, and Alice in Wonderland. He is also appearing in some of Burton's work-in-progress films.

Burton's significant other Helena Bonham Carter whom he has two children with also frequently appears in lead or supporting roles for his films. As his muse, she appeared in the films Planet of the Apes, Big Fish, Corpse Bride, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and Alice in Wonderland.
