Time in Colorado

What is Mountain Standard Time (MST)?

Y! Tori
People wonder, what is the time in Colorado?
Is the time in Colorado the same as...
Eastern Standard Time?
Central Standard Time?
Pacific Daylight Time?

No.

The time in Colorado is...
Mountain Standard Time (MST).

The time in Mountain Standard Time is...
Two hours behind Eastern Standard Time,
One hour behind Central Standard Time, and
One hour ahead of Pacific Standard Time.

Other states that observe the Mountain Standard Time Zone are...
Montana,
Wyoming,
Idaho,
Utah,
New Mexico, and
Arizona (except during Daylight Savings Time- then AZ observes PST).

If you're ever wondering the time in Colorado,
Just remember this poem...
It will help you, I promise.

I think you're confusing daylight time vs. standard time when referring to the Pacific Time Zone. Also, although most of Arizona is technically always on Mountain Standard Time, it is really on Pacific Daylight Time when the rest of the country is on Daylight Time. Thanks, Jack in Phoenix (although I'm in Denver on business right now!)

This is helpful! I might even be able to keep track of MST better than our time because we have to switch our clocks, depending on when our time zone switches. Twice a year, like....well, like clockwork :)
