Time Crunch Hairstyles: The Casual - Invisible Barrette Pull Back

S
Right now we are going to work on a hairstyle that will work for any occasion from beach side to office. The no band pull back offers you a beautiful style with no visible barrette and chic waves.

What you are going to need for the no band pull back:

Large bobby pins (make sure they are large enough and strong enough for your hair type)

Hair spray (a light hold will work with this hairstyle but make sure the spray will hold your hair)

Brush

Curler

*Before you begin the steps - start warming the curling iron*

First Step:

You do not need to have washed hair for this (of course, make sure you have clean hair but you do not need to wash your hair right before this style). Brush your hair out well and apply any soothing cremes you wish.

Second Step:

Using the curling iron, wave your hair. To wave your hair and not curl it, simply place a strand of hair in the curler, like you are about to curl it, but instead of twisting it up and holding it for a couple seconds - pull the hair strand through the curling iron in a slow motion with a twisting motion. Only wave a couple strands of hair here and there. You don't need to wave all your hair because this is too time consuming.

Third Step:

Get out the large bobby pins (you are going to work on one side of your head at a time). Lightly pull back the hair along side your face (for example: the right side of your face). Using the large bobby pin - pin the strand of hair in the mid-back of your head. Make sure to hide the pin under the hair and out of sight. Do this to the other side of your head as well.

Fourth Step:

If you have bangs go ahead and pin them up or let them hang down and be themselves. If your bangs are longer, let them frame your face or sweep to the side. If you wish to wave your bangs a little, go ahead and do so.

Fifth Step:

Holding the hair spray at least twelve inches from your hair, spray a single coating over all your hair. Do not hold the hair spray too close because this will focus the spray in a single area and make that area of hair flat and hard. Holding the spray away gives you an even coating.
