Right now we will focus on a very simple and elegant Braided Pull Back. This look will take about 10 minutes to complete at the absolute most. The look provided has a simple braid on the right and left sides of the head and are pulled back into a joining group at the back of the head.
What you are going to need for the Braided Pull Back:
Brush
Small clear elestic band
Hair spray
Curling iron
Hair spray (It is best to have a light hold for this look unless your hair requires a stronger hold)
Small bobby pins
Texturizer (best to have a cream texturizer)
Hair Clip
*Stare heating up the curling iron before you begin so it's ready*
First Step:
Brush your hair out quickly to ensure all knots are out of your way for this style. Apply a small amount texture cream to your hair all over. Brush the texture cream through your hair to make sure it's in there.
Second Step:
Gather the whole front section of your hair (right above your forehead). Part the section of hair into two and criss-cross the strands of hair you just divided. Use a hair clip to hold on division of hair while you work with the other. Loosly braid three simple braids going toward the back of your head. Use a clear small elastic band to hold the braid your just made and use a clip to pin the braid to the mid-back of your head. Do this to the other side.
Third Step:
Once both sides of your head are braided, use a small elastic band to hold both braids loosly together in the mid-back of your head. Use the small bobby pins to pin the braids down to your head so they don't flop around everywhere and fall out. You should only need two or three on each side.
Fourth Step:
Add a couple waves to your hair that is hanging down in the back. Since you are only going to do a couple strands for style, I don't suggest curling them fully because this will look a little odd (full curl here, straight here, full curl again). Stick to a wave. You can complete a wave by placing a strand of hair in the curling iron, pulling straight down slowly, and adding a light twist on the way down.
Fifth Step:
Give your hair an all-over spray with a ligt hold hair spray.
