Increasingly the darkness melts, as light is shed, melting the icy rain.
Memories mellow, memories fade, as distance takes its reign.
Eventually, everything works out for those who believe, for those who trust in more than grain.
Darkness uncovered by the hidden tears, that the sun dries,
Opportunities missed, forever remembered in the twilight
Circumstances beyond belief, silence prevails, as each step moves forward
Understanding gained through grief, hearts broken mended and repaired by love
Memories bittersweet, distant and fading
Emptiness opening wide the door to tears held back by the drying rains
Notes laid aside, forgotten as the skies once again become clouds of fog
Twilight lingers but for a moment, fades as the fog brings the clouds of night
Silence prevails, words wished to say, yet stilled as the weights of night begin the lingering cries
Open windows, closed doors, the rains become as ice
Understatements, overstatements, and still we eat the rice
Roads woven together, forgotten petals float down stream, memories left behind ever so nice.
Trials come, and trials go, but who remembers the tears that we've cried?
Eventually all things pass, so we've been told, as we wait through the depths of the night.
Always, we wait, listening for the trump that signals the end of our continuing advance forward.
Raising high the banner we march steadily as we follow the wings of the Dove
Stains linger, marking the way for those who linger, forever will the soul sing --

Living and loving are most important to me.
- Life and Death Etched in StoneWalk through a modern-day cemetery and there's precious little to chronicle the ones who lie buried beneath the earth. Such was not the case in centuries gone by, as we can see by their epitaphs carved in stone.
