When you were young, I too was very young, had a lot of maturing to do.
I learned more everyday, and you grew everyday.
To young parents out there with young babies, I know you won't believe just how fast it goes.
Only those whose children have grown really knows.
Time went by in the blink of an eye.
Before I knew it, it was time to say goodbye-let you fly.
I could only hope and pray that what I tried to teach, did inside you reach.
I now get to see that it has, so proud for you three grads!
Theresa you graduated college, Joclyn you accomplished High school and college! Mikey you've gotten through Middle school-its of to high school for you.
Theresa you have been on your own, you amaze me. You left home two weeks after High school and started college immediately.Theresa you went straight through two years, summers too! You only took a week off when you had the baby! So determined! I'm so proud.
Joclyn, you came home one day your sophomore year with paperwork to attend college during your high school years. You moved in with dad, but stuck to your plan, today I saw you graduate High school, and when you go off to Florida next year for medical school, you will already have your associates degree!
Mikey you have grown to be a strong caring man. So respectful of others I am your biggest fan! I get notes from the teachers saying how good you are, and anyone that ever met you compliments me on what a good person you are. You are the "baby" my last one home. I love you dearly and am proud of who you've become. your ceremony's next week, I can't wait to see. You truly have grown into the best person one can be!

Post a CommentCongrats to all of your kids!
I don't miss the crying at all!
Jennifer, I really enjoyed reading about your children and their graduation milestones. I totally agree that we should not wish their childhoods away. It is so hard when I do not see my daughter for months... Also great photos! Keep writing! Nancy
This is great!
Our first grandchild will be born in mere weeks and I'm madly in love with this child already! I'm not gonna blink, tho - I made that mistake with my own kids, lol!
I was looking at my grandson this week and longing for the little baby that held his arms up to me with joy whenever I entered the room. I still usually get an excited "Nana" but I'm wondering how much longer that will last.
Time just flies, doesn't it?
Awww..it does go fast, doesn't it! What a sweet tribute to your kids!
