Time Goes by Much Too Fast

Enjoy it While it Lasts.

Janet Hunt
It goes by much too fast

While it's here

Enjoy it while it lasts

Mud between toes

Fights in the car

Stop, or I'll turn this car around!

You look around and those times

Can't be found

Babies grow up

And then they leave you alone

But you still treasure

Those times you have known

You sometimes wish

You could have back

Just one day

Holding them in your lap

Or swinging on a swing

Picking blue berries

Swimming in the swimming hole

Studying for tests

Bringing their friends home

They must grow up

Yes, they must!

Hold them while you can

Their time is coming fast

To leave you with these memories

But the love will last...
