Children of all ages should have a time to unwind from the stresses of childhood. Laughter is the best medicine not just for adults; far children too.
Children who go to school should find time for playing with others. This activity is good for their body and mind. Children who learn the value of a peaceful body, mind, and spirit will feel the benefits of what laughter and fun times can bring into their lives.
How did you make a child laugh recently?
I'll start!
I'm a childcare provider and I watched Rylai who is 2 yrs. old a few days ago. We shared the hilarious book about Zelda's wisdom. It's written by Carol Garner. Sharing this funny book together gave both of us a little mini vacations in our minds. She couldn't stop laughing. I knew by leaving this beside her today, that both of us would laugh more than a few times.
Do you have an opportunity to make a child laugh today? Don't forget that they need laughter too. They will feel like you are their angels, and you will think they are yours.
Children get over anxious due to growing pains. They have so much to explore and not enough hours in the day to hold all their imagination. Give them the natural stress reliever that is simply called laughter.
Now, laugh with children every chance you get. Maybe even belly roll laugh like Santa. Now that would make them laugh and think about Christmas, and the simple laughter that goes along with this time of year.
Many different seasons come and go. Lots of different holidays with many opportunities for a chuckle here and a chuckle there. You get the picture!
If you are thinking about something funny, call a child and make them laugh along with you. Two laughs are always better than one. Chuckle! Chuckle!
Read this article along with a child you know and watch and see if you don't see them smiling and giving you hints they need some laughter too. Now, it's your turn to perform for them.
