Time Machine

If I could change time
And go back.
I would fix everything
And get life on track.

I would put down the bottle,
I would pick up the pen.
I'd stop these silly parties,
All the vodka and gin.

If I could go back
And change my life.
I'd weed out the bad girls
And have a lovely wife.

I would work out
And change my diet.
I'd speak up
Instead of being quiet.

If time travel existed
I'd change all of my ways.
I'd appreciate everything more
And enjoy each of my days.

If I could hit rewind
I'd change the game.
Oh, who am I kidding?
It would all be the same.
