Time is Silent Sound

In today's wintry chill

Breaking streams of thought

In which my mind was caught

I started with a picture;raw

Then turned it into a jig-saw

Re-arranged the pieces;new

Out my window time flew

You left me with no option

And there was only one opinion

Left melting in my hands

Time falling through like sands

Time started moving but reversing

Over the minds landscape traversing

Because of memories repetition

I sent out this petition

Time stood still tomorrow

From it a lesson I borrowed

So you may understand

Just what is in todays hand

I took a holy grail

And made it wholly frail

Questioned your answers with time

And left it reverberating in your mind

Do you see me

Or just time's perception of you

Do you understand

What under the surface of this land?

Time is a construction site

Time is explaining emotional flight

Time explains motion and breaks it down

Time is nothing but silent sound

Time is silent sound

Drifting all around

Made by mankind's questioning

As a way of understanding.
