I have time Warner cable and for the last two weeks, the Internet hasn't worked properly. When you call them up they tell you that there is no problems with the service. I beg to differ. I turn on the television, which is also hooked up with time Warner cable, and I am not surprised to see that the cable does not work as well.
So Thanksgiving Day I make the call. They tell me to do all these tricks like I am a magician and still no progress. They put me on hold. I'm holding. Holding. Holding. An hour later a representative picks up and tells me there must be a shortage in the area. So they put me on hold again. Finally they confirm that there is an outage in the area and they will try to fix it right away.
No television or Internet on thanksgiving. Which means no football on thanksgiving. This is a problem for me. So I tell them that I should be credited for the loss of access since it is there fault. They can only say well work on it. I have a suggestion. I say if you don't credit me for my loss then you can cancel my account and I will go with Verizon. They say no problem.
They obviously do not care about losing customers, nor do they care about the people being to enjoy the entertainment of football to whatever else they want to watch on any given day. What if I was a student? What if I had a paper due and the Internet was my only source of information like say an online class. What if I was running an online business and I needed access to make my money? They don't care. So get rid of time Warner cable and switch to anything else. I know I am.
