you take a trip and be gone,
from the world full of strife,
to the world of the afterlife.
When your time on Earth is done,
you leave like the setting sun,
but not to rise in the morning,
after the darkness of the evening.
When your time on Earth is done,
you really have to leave,
allowing others to do their "deed."
and, in turn, collect their "wage."
When your time on Earth is done,
you should not leave behind,
some remorse which will bind,
and render your soul forever blind.
When your time on Earth is done,
so are all the chances,
to do whatever kindness,
which will make someone feel bless.
So, before your time is done,
do something good to someone,
it will make your soul light,
because you did what is right.
