This land of ours is the greatest of all,
even if it's been a while since I've seen it...
I can't tell U where I've been,
'cuz, if U knew, I think U'd throw a fit...
I am a vet from the Vietnam war,
I fought 4 love, pride, freedom and glory...
I only ask 4 a chance in return,
a chance 2 live my life without worry...
Times have changed since I've last seen out,
now acting so greedy is what it's all about...
Times have changed in the U.S.A.,
still the land of the free, nothing bad U can say...
Times have changed 4 even U and I,
our love is still strong, and we will never die...
