Tinkerbell Printables

Janet Trieschman
Do you love Tinkerbell? Do you have a Tinkerbell fan at home? Tinkerbell was first introduced in Sr. James M. Barrie's original play. The character was first introduced as a beam of light. Transformed into a womanly figure, with heavy criticism, it has been thought she was characterized after Marilyn Monroe. She was actually fashioned after Margaret Kerry, the actress who played her in the 1953 film "Peter Pan". Tinkerbell then went on to host or present "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" and "The Wonderful World of Disney". Currently, Disney has released a Tinkerbell movie keeping her popularity alive and thriving.

Disney reintroduced Tinkerbell and the fairies to try and grab the in-between pre-teen and teen audience, keeping them fans from a young age to adulthood. While this may be happening, the Disney Fairies are being toted after by a broader audience than originally targeted. Like many things Disney touches, the fairies are a goldmine. Having just returned from Disneyland, I can attest to their popularity. Being pulled in by all the glitz and promotion; my own daughter, a tried and true Ariel fan, placed Tinkerbell at the top of her list momentarily. If you have a Tinkerbell fan at home and are looking for printables to fulfill her desires, here is a list of what I found available for free online.
