Tips for Avon Representatives

When you become an Avon representative you get a website which you place your information on your information on so visitors, family, friends can order from you. What Avon doesn't tell you is that the person who wishes to order, sign up or other wise contact you, will result in their mailings being deleted by you, by accident as spam. Here's one way you can avoid that.

If you are using Yahoo as your email client you should go to options, then mail options, then click on filters. At the top click "Add Filter". Filter name, put Avon, under "body" put "youravon.com" without the quotes, then at the top click on "Save Changes." This will avoid any communication coming in through the Avon website to your email from going to junk or spam folder and you missing it. If you are using Hotmail, you should apply the same filter.

Also while you are in there, click on "Signature" and tick "Show a signature on all outgoing messages" and put your name, and your Avon web site link. Once again click "Save Changes". The reason you want to put your Avon website link into your email like that, is so when someone thinks of ordering they know who to contact, as well as where to look. I can't tell you how many orders I have got because of that signature, and now you will too!

If you use Facebook, add your Avon website to your website section in Facebook. Go to "Profile" "Info" then click "Edit." Under "Contact Information" at the bottom is the spot for your website address. You could also create your own Facebook Fan Page, but I don't recommend it.

Be careful to not post your Avon website link on other people's Facebook Fan pages unless you have their permission.

Anytime you join a forum, message board of any kind, be sure in the signature location to put your Avon website link.

Have online Avon parties! They are quick and easy, and you can even use a community web based video chat to keep the party interesting.

Get some representatives under you, and encourage them often. The more you have the easier it is to make Avon a part time or even a full time income.

Remember at all times, you are an Avon Representative, so before you step out the door to go to the store, put on some make up, jewelry, and grab your samples, and brochures!
