Tips on Becoming a Celebrity's Personal Assistant

Some Suggestions

Being a celebrity is a dream job for some, but it really takes a special type of person to be able to cater and wait on someone hand and foot. Most celebrity assistants make almost as much money as the celebrities do themselves. Of course this is after you add in all of the expensive gifts that they are given if they work for someone who really appreciates them. If this is a career that seems to be of interest to you, than you better get started training now because it really does take a lot of hard work.

The first thing that you will need to do is make sure that you are in great shape. Celebrity assistants are known to work almost twenty four hours a day and are constantly moving. Many of them barely get a moment to sit down. You need to also work hard at being a very organized person. Celebrities look to other people to help keep their personal lives in good order. Many who have worked for celebrities in the past have gone on to do bigger and better things, so it does not mean that you don't need any training. Working as a secretary is a great way to gain experience as far as filing, and arranging meetings and appointments is concerned. When you work for a celebrity it would be your job to answer their phone for them, go through loads of fan mail, and to help them keep their appointments in order. You will also need time do their grocery shopping, and tote and carry their stuff for them as well.

Many celebrities tend to confide in their assistants so you will need to make sure that you are fully capable of keep in your mouth shut at all times. You will also need to adjust to constantly traveling and in some cases not being able to sleep for two days straight. Training and sharpening your skills in order to be a personal assistant to a celebrity really does take a lot of hard work. Of course there is definitely a fun side to this, since you will be able to be at all the functions. You basically need to know how to do just about everything, since that is exactly what you will be doing. So if you are the type of person who does not like to clean up after people or tote stuff around for others than this just may not be the job for you. If however you really feel that this is something you want to do and you are willing to work and train hard, you may just land one of the highest paying jobs around.

The simplest way to find if a celebrity is hiring is to visit their website. This is what I did when I found out Judge Mathis was hiring. I was searching online for work at home and came across an article stating he was hiring. I went to his website and there it was Judge Mathis was hiring at home workers. The process didn't seem of any harm to sign up, so that's what I did.

So, I found the simplest way to see if a celebrity is hiring is to simply go to their website and if I don't see anything there, than I know I can always use a search engine as my back up.

Other ways to get hired by an celebrity indirectly is to gossip about them or start a blog. For example, Beyonce, Oprah, Jennifer Lopez, ect are hot stars right now. So, why not make money from them by creating a one of kind, juicy gossip page. People always love to hear gossip and interesting things on celebrities that they never knew.

    Best Wishes~
