Tips for Building Your Own Happiness to Have a Happier Life

Rosa Hayes
I was once on the verge of suicide and had actually attempted it a few times. It wasn't until I didn't ask for help that scared me after trying to kill myself. I found ways to build my own happiness and I now live a much happier life. It took some time for me to realize the importance of being happy. I started to think about the things that makes a person's life happier and after asking many of my friends about suicide I learned that there are people who have actually never thought about killing themselves no matter how hard life got on them. I was destined to learn why I thought my life was so miserable and how I could have a happier life.

Happiness is just a smile away

Have you ever seen those people who smile all the time? Well, these people use to irritate me more than I could say. I didn't understand why they were smiling all the time if there wasn't anything to smile about. I asked one of them why they smiled so much and all they said was for me to try it some time. I tried it and guess what? It works; smiling can make the worse thing seem like a breeze. I smiled for an entire 24 hours and found that I was happy that day, didn't argue at all, didn't want to argue, and had a much happier day. Go ahead and give it a try. Smile all day for twenty-four hours and see what you can be happy about or how much something upsets you. Chances are that you will be happy. It has been proven that it takes more muscles to frown anyways so why not give it a try?

Money issues aren't something to smile about

Money issues were another thing in my life that made me frown a lot and made my life seem miserable. I stopped worrying about all the small stuff and started budgeting more and found that my money problems didn't all go away but I was much happier. I even took on a second job to get my finances under control. The second job was only for a couple of months and I toughed it out and was much happier once the bill collectors stopped calling.

My love life isn't something worth smiling about

Your love life isn't the end of your life and I am sure that you have heard about all the fish in the sea but there are also ways to make this love life much happier. I have a lot of tips on marriage and making your relationship work. If you are interested in my other articles you can click on my name and see all the articles I have written that also includes my romance and love life articles.

The hardest part about making your life happier is to take the first step in making it that way. Everything in life can be compromised with or at least I like to think so. The next time that you are feeling like your life is getting out of hand, take a step back and take a look at it and what you can do to fix it. There is always a way to make your life happier if you work at it.
