Tips for Your Business

Business Ideas

Hello fellow Candle members. I am here to help you learn more about being a consultant. When starting out we usually tend to feel a little nervous at first, then watch out here we come. One thing I find helpful is watching others while they present their business and I take notes.

1. Introduce yourself. That is a big thing. Let those listening know who you are and tell them some about yourself. It makes it easier for them to get a sense of who you are and what your offering. It's also a comfort to know a little about someone before they go into the presentation.

2. Keep it simple. Be ready for your presentation and have your props ready. If you are presenting in front of people, be sure you are set up and ready to roar!

3. Play a game or two. Offering a game helps take pressure off and loosens everyone up.

4. Tell what it is you are offering whether it be your business or product. You want to be sure your potential buyers hear about the product first. Then feel free to offer the business opportunity. This way there is no pressure.

5. Do Not Down other Companies! This is a big one. You may compare a product to your product but stay away from criticism. Everyone is in a business for a reason and they have their own preferences.

6. Get names and number's, also maybe an address so you can send post cards or thank you cards. Let them know you are happy to keep in touch. You never know what may happen. Especially if someone hosts a party for you be sure to thank them for sharing their home or site for your presentation.

Many stay at home parents are in the business for a hobby or to stay home with their children. It is a good way to meet other stay at home moms and make a little more income. Parent's are into many types of business without leaving their home making easier to shop from home and also giving the chance to meet other parents like them.

Many work from home jobs are not instant money makers but the fact that they are fun and a way to make new acquaintances it makes it all worth it. It also gives you new experiences in the job field like customer service. Teaches us how to communicate with others.

Thank you for reading my tips and ideas. I hope you will join me for my next posting. There are so many ways to enjoy work from home businesses. We can learn from each other and build up through others that contribute ideas. There are so many out there that have ways they do their business and when they share it helps you learn to better your business.
Stay tuned for our next Tips and Ideas.
