The triathlon clothing that you choose should be made of material that dries quickly and is light weight. Most people do not change their clothes after the swimming part of the race, so you need to have clothing that can go in the water and dry quickly as you transition to the next part of the race. The clothing needs to be lightweight so that when it is wet, it does not hold you down and restrict your activity.
Other things that you should look for in a women's triathlon singlet is a compressive fabric that gives you support when you run and bike, but is also comfortable. Some will have internal bras while others you may have to buy a separate sports bra and wear that underneath. If you do wear a singlet that has an internal bra, be sure that it has enough support, as some women with larger chests are going to need more support.
A women's triathlon singlet can make the difference between running your best race ever and running just an okay race. The clothing that you wear has a direct impact on how you will perform. The clothing should be comfortable as possible while allowing you to perform at a high level and giving you ever advantage possible.
