There are lots of designs of rub-ons. Therefore rub-ons can be used for decorating anything in any room of the home. Rub-ons can be purchased at any craft store. Keep in mind the shape and size of the object when selecting the rub-ons. Of course rub-ons have to be used on a smooth surface. Some rub-ons can be harder to rub lose then others. So, remember to hold them in place or type them. Be careful to not let it move until the picture is completely attached. Keep in mind rub-ons can't be removed from some surfaces. Although they can be removed from glass with nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol.

Rub-ons can be used in decorating a piece of wood purchased from a craft store to place in any room. Some designs are apples, fruits, angels, teddy bears, dolls, flowers, and lots more. Also different sizes of wood can be used with the rub-ons to make a set of pictures. Of course you may want to stain the wood first.

Another tip on using rub-ons would be to place them straight on the wall. Such as in girls' room where one may like bears, but the other may like angels. Place the rub-on on a wall as desired.

Other uses of the rub-ons would be on new pieces of plexiglass such as replacement in small cabinets in the bathroom. When doing this you won't just have the total see though clear sliding closure. Light houses or water rub-ons is always a good idea for a bathroom. This makes a new look but is just simple. Placing as many of rub-ons on the closures as wanted.

Decorating clear candle glasses or containers with a rub-on is another good idea. After pouring your candle wax in the glass or clear container let the wax cool. Just rub the cut pieces that has been selected on the glass or container. This will make it have a new or more expensive look.

Here are two other uses for rub-ons. If wanting to add an extra look to a mirror just place your favorite design in each corner. Depending on the size of the mirror to what size of rub-on to use. This tip is to place rub-ons on an older toy that the decals are worn on. Be sure the surface is clean. Now it can be passed down to a younger child.

There are lots of other ideas and uses for decorating with rub-ons. Use rub-ons on pocketbooks, purses, notebooks, bible covers, wallets, cabinet doors, even belts. Anything with a smooth surface. These ideas can also be used as gifts.
