Get out of the sun! You get enough vitamin D from milk anyways. If you love gardening too much to hide away indoors like a hermit, just be sure to apply plenty of sunscreen before you go out and reapply when necessary. Also, stay out of the tanning salons. You might think that a rich Brazilian tan will help hide your wrinkles, but it will only make them worse. Instead, use a bronzer or spray tan to get a nice healthy glow. If you can't eliminate your afternoon affairs with the sunbed, at least cover your face with a towel and use a bronzer to match the tone of your face with the rest of your body.
Stop smoking! Smoking causes wrinkles because it accelerates the aging process of your skin. Why? When you smoke, you reduce the amount of blood flow to your face because the blood vessels constrict. Because the skin isn't getting the blood flow it needs, it is also missing out on the important vitamins and nutrients that are carried in the blood such as vitamin A. It also reduces the amount of collagen and elastin, so your skin loses it elasticity and becomes more prone to wrinkles and sagging.
Use anti-aging creams. For a review of the best anti-wrinkle creams out on the market, visit the Best Anti Aging Wrinkle Cream Reviews website. See Resources for link. At the top of the list is the Dermajuv Complete Rejuvenation System. This product has a great reputation and has a huge inventory of repeat customers - meaning it obviously works well! It is a combination of three formulas that combat all the signs of aging, such as wrinkles and red spots. They also offer a thirty-day money-back guarantee. Another recommended product is LifeCellSkin. It is quite expensive, with a price tag of $189, but you can try the product out for free for thirty days before you actually have to pay anything. See Supporting Links for links.
Follow a healthy diet and get plenty of exercise. This seems to be the recommended antidote for every ailment known to mankind, so obviously it's important. A diet rich in antioxidants and omega 3 fatty acids is an excellent defense against the aging process. Try to include plenty of fruits, vegetables, poultry and fish in your diet. It's also important to drink plenty of water each day so that the essential vitamins and nutrients your skin needs can be transported to the cells.
You also need to exercise, but not just through cardio and strength training. You need to exercise those facial muscles as well to help prevent wrinkles. Annelise Hagen has written a book called "The Yoga Face: Eliminate Wrinkles with the Ultimate Natural Facelift." This book describes fun facial exercises to help keep your muscles strong to prevent sagging. See Supporting Links for links.
If you feel like your wrinkles are so out of control that no contemporary solution will suit you, you can always seek help from a professional. There is always the option of plastic surgery if you consider the problem to be severe enough. Botox is also great for reducing wrinkles around the eyes and lips.
You also have the option to undergo Plasma Skin Resurfacing. During this procedure, your skin is damaged using plasma gas and nitrogen. This causes the skin to regenerate and heal itself, therefore eliminating wrinkles. See References for link.
