Take Your Time
This cannot be emphasized enough. Take your time! When you rush too quickly, that is the very reason why you miss the details to begin with. Take your time in writing each word, each sentence, and each paragraph.
Proof Read
Don't just write your article and submit it without reviewing it. Proof read it, and take your time doing that as well. Chances are there is something you've made a mistake with in which you could mind in fixing.
Use Microsoft Word
Microsoft word has built in spell and grammar checker. When you use Microsoft Word instead of other programs, it will help you find errors that you can not see or have missed.
Know the Language
When you write an article it is also important to know how to write appropriately. If you have to study normal grammar and punctuation, then do so. Many times your editing program will miss things that only a human can notice.
Have a Clear Mind
One of the most important things to have your articles error free is to have a clear mind. You don't want to be sleepy or focused on other things, which can cause distraction. Get as much sleep as you can, to ensure you're alert to all aspects of your article.
Show it to others
Many times others can see things wrong with your article that you cannot. Although, you may not want to do this with all the articles you submit to Associated Content, because they could be a large many, but show them to whoever has the time and would like to read them. This will ensure they will find things you may have missed or suggest improvements outside of your point of view.
Know the Policies
You cannot submit anything to Associated Content. Observe their policies and make sure you've examined all the rules such as: word maximum and limit; content guidelines; and so on. When you make yourself familiar with them, you will assure you won't any mistakes in that regard as well.
Therefore, whenever you're writing articles, follow those guidelines. Make sure you know what you're submitting and all its details before you finally send it for an offer.
