Tips for a Fabulous Halloween:

Goblins, ghouls and witches. The idea of scary costumes for Halloween is completely passe. This October, it's all about being sexy and seductive. Last year, I dressed as a Playboy Bunny, and I have to tell you, that was probably the best costume I've had to date. I think the reason why my costume ended up being such a success was because I wasn't simply a girl with a bunny suit on, I became a Playboy Bunny in my mind. I even took on the name Trixie for the evening, to really get into my character.

It's a hell of a lot more convincing (not to mention sexy) if you actually become your character. Going as a cop? Show your more authoritative side, and don't be afraid to use your handcuffs on someone that gets unruly. Dressing up as a French maid? If you get the urge to dust someone off, you whip out that feather duster of yours and give that guy a good cleaning.

It is also very important that you get a costume that fits your body just right. Anything too tight or too loose is a big no-no. And if you have to constantly adjust your outfit throughout the night, that's another red flag. When picking a costume out, pick something that isn't going to keep people guessing all night. You want people to know exactly what you are the minute they see you. It ruins the fun when someone has to ask, "So what are you exactly?"

Don't try to be overly authentic with your costume either. What I mean is, if you're going as a soccer player, don't wear cleats and knee socks. Throw some high heels into the mix. It will amp up the sex appeal instantly. And on a final note, don't be afraid to show a little bit more than you normally would. Halloween isn't about being conservative-this is the one time you can go out in public scantily clad and get away with it.
