Start your research at the Disneyland Paris website. They have different site templates depending on the country that you are traveling from, which can make it easier for you to calculate accurate costs. You can get information from the site about each Disneyland resort, as well as pricing options depending on when you want to travel and which Disneyland Resort that you want to stay at. In addition, the Disneyland Paris website offers options for other hotels that are nearby and run shuttles to the parks, for those individuals looking to stay closer to the Paris city centre in order to take in some of the sites. Exploring the Disneyland Paris website allows travelers to read through and gather information about the parks, the resorts, and other packages that you can book through the website.
Consider out of the ordinary travel options. Flights from cities like London or travel on the Eurorail are fairly inexpensive, and offer travelers the opportunity to see more of Europe. Packages from these destinations can be booked directly from Disneyland Paris, so if you want to go that route and secure your own travel to London, you may be able to save money and time, as well as enhance your travel experience. Think about heading to London first and spending a day there before you and the family head to Disneyland Paris.
Consult a local travel agent. Packages to Disney parks and resorts, especially when you factor in travel expenses, local sightseeing, and more than one park experience, can become a bit overwhelming during the pricing process. Head into your local travel agency and see if they can offer you some of their expertise. Our local travel agency can book our entire trip for us, taking some of the pressure off of us and allowing us to enjoy the time leading up to our trip, and they only charge a 10 pound handling charge for every plane ticket book. For my family, these 30 pounds (roughly $60) are well worth it.
Make time to see local sights. Of course, travelers to any Disney theme park can tell you that you never have to leave the resorts or parks! However, if you've made the time and spent the money to head to Paris, don't forget to take a day to explore the beautiful city, see the Eiffel Tower, or drive through some of the French countryside.
Above all, don't forget to have fun. Planning a holiday of this magnitude can be overwhelming, especially from across an ocean and when you are considering traveling with small children. But the Disney experience is one that everyone in your family can enjoy, and taking advantage of the beauty of Paris while you are at it is something you won't regret!

Post a CommentThanks for the info, I want to go to Disneyland Paris some day. We go to Disneyland often, but we live just two states over.
Oooh . . . one of these days I'm taking the kids here! I used to travel to France almost every year BK (Before Kids). It's now been 6 years. When I go back one day with the family, Disneyland Paris will definitely be on the itinerary. Thanks for a great article.
WOW..oh..I want to go there!!..
I've never even been to an American Disney park!
Great information, Kelly. I've lost count of the times I've been to France, but DisneyLand Paris never really appealed to me somehow. I passed by an opportunity to go a few years ago.

Great ideas! Sounds like fun!
You need to come back to the states so that you can write about places might be able to afford to go to someday.
Very good points. I have friends that live in Paris and are regulars at Disneyland Paris, I've vowed to go visit them one day hehe.
