I wanted to give you guys some tips on how to survive in this game because free-for-all is probably one of the most challenging game types to not get shot from behind or have some guy spawn behind you. It gets a little bit crazy and probably the best way to go about playing free-for-all is trying to manage the spawns in this game and in any first-person shooter in general there are big part of your success. For any of you who have played the map rust, you'll undoubtedly know that the spawn system is absolutely atrocious.
The main focus when playing free-for-all is to prevent people spawning behind you and taking you by surprise. Whenever you play a free for all, try to think of the map as a rectangle. And basically decide which side of the map you want to control. Patrol your area and scout out for more people. Listen on a headset and make sure no one is sneaking behind you but also be careful, because there are people using ninja so it is a good idea to equip claymores to prevent anyone from catching you by surprise. However, you also have to be careful of those people who are using scrambler Pro but the good news is that you'll definitely be able to hear their footsteps.
It's also a good idea not to stay in one part of the map for too long because if you shoot enough people, they'll start coming back and try to get their vengeance on you. If you are not prepared and you are not diligent he will probably end up shooting you in the face. Free-for-all is big on camping so if you're not patient and like to run around, you will be quickly spotted and inevitably killed because the guns in this game do so much freaking damage. I also recommend choosing one of the higher kill streak rewards because it gives you something to work for and keeps you cautious. When playing free-for-all make sure to put a silencer on your gun because shooting your gun without one is like ringing the dinner bell of sorts. Everyone will swarm to your position. The best way to play this game mode is to act defensively but also to move around. One of the ways you can succeed is to call in your air support because everyone knows their support gets you a lot of kills.
