In this article you will find the requirements needed to submit a video, the instructions on how to go about it, and some extra tips to help you out. Good luck!
Requirements:
- Full Name
- Complete Mailing Address
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Video must not be more than 30MB
- You must read and agree to the Terms Of Use
- Description of what you're submitting.
- Location and date you captured the video.
- Video file
Instructions:
1. Open an internet browser.
2. Open up http://www.CNN.com by typing the address in your URL bar..
3. Look for the I-Report icon on the top-right-hand corner of the page, and click on it.
4. Now you are on the I-Report homepage. Look for a rectangle that reads "Want to be an I-Reporter?" and click on it.
5. The next thing you will see is the page that contains a link to the form you need to fill out to submit your video. Click on "Send Your Breaking News I-Report," to begin filling it out.
6. This is the form necessary to submit your video, make sure to fill it all out completely and accurately.
7. Once you have filled out all the required typed answers, it's time to upload your video. Select the "Browse" button, find the video you want to upload from your computer, select okay, and then move on to the next step.
8. Take some time to read the CNN Terms Of Use so that you are aware of how your video may or may not be used. Once you have finished reading this, check the box agreeing to it.
9. If you have finished entering all the requirements into the form, hit the "Submit" button. If you are not satisfied with the information you may edit it, or select the "Reset" button to start over again
