Tips for Getting Photos from Your Camera onto Your Computer to E-mail Them

Have you taken some great photos with your digital camera lately? Would you like to email those to your friends or family perhaps after getting them into your computer? Well, if this sounds like something that you would like to do, then keep on reading this article; I will be teaching you how to do it step-by-step! Inputting pictures into your computer might seem like rocket science if you are not computer savvy and you do not like to mess with anything that's found in the back of your computer, but no worries lets get started; all you'll need is your camera, the USB cord, and your computer turned on.

Complete Steps:

1. Get your camera that contains the photos you want to get into your computer to email, and the USB cord to connect to the computer.

2. Once you have connected your camera to your computer a screen will come up. Chose to open the file to view the photos instead of all the other options you're given.

3. When you open the file folder containing all the photos, you are going to highlight the ones you have, then you're going to copy them. You copy them by right clicking on the highlighted photos and choosing Copy from the menu that appears.

4. Once you have them copied, go to your MyPictures folder. Then you need to right click on some blank space, chose New, then Folder. That will create a new folder that you will later be able to rename.

5. Open up the new folder and right click, then chose paste.
Note: If you would like to rename the new folder you created, right click on it, and chose rename.

6. Once you have all your photos there, log into your email address and chose to compose a new message.

7. You are now going to add the pictures as attachments to email them, meaning that you will have to click on attach file and then go through your files to chose the picture/s you want to send. Once you have chosen the picture you want, click send message or continue to message.
