You can just plant the pumpkin seeds like the directions say on the package of pumpkin seeds. Then just weed them and water them and watch them grow. You can get nice sized pumpkins this way but you can do better if you desire. Just remember you have to be able to move the pumpkin and the bigger the pumpkin gets the harder it will be.
If you want the pumpkin to be bigger then just from planting it the regular way you can feed the pumpkin. before you plant the pumpkin seeds you can add to it's size by fertilizing the ground where you are going to plant the seeds. Dig a hole about a foot deep and place some manure down into the hole. Cover the manure with some dirt so the seeds are not directly on the manure. This manure will help the pumpkin to grow big.
If you want to try even harder to get a bigger pumpkin you can give the pumpkin some milk. As the pumpkin starts to grow you can pour some milk around the pumpkin so that the pumpkin plant can get nourishment from the milk. this can help the pumpkin get even bigger.
If you want to get serious and get the biggest pumpkin you can you can actually feed the milk to the pumpkin. Pick off all the pumpkins on the vine except the biggest pumpkin. Then take a bowl with milk and sugar in it and place it by the pumpkin. Very carefully take a knife and make a small slit in the stem near where the pumpkin is starting to grow. Put a piece of cotton wick into the slit and put the other end of the wick into the milk and sugar. Make sure the wick is soaked with the milk and sugar first. The pumpkin will suck up the milk and sugar mixture and grow bigger. Keep the bowl full of the milk mix all the time and watch the pumpkin grow.
