Tips for Healthy Skin and Wrinkle Prevention in Your 30s

Rae Harris
Making healthy skin care choices that help prevent wrinkles should begin at an early age to achieve the best benefits. The 30s are a time when most people begin to notice changes in their skin and think more about preventing wrinkles. Here are some healthy skincare tips that will help you begin early to make your skin the best it can be now and help prevent wrinkles in the future.

Protect your skin from the sun. Protecting your skin from the sun is essential for developing healthy skin and helping prevent wrinkles and other signs of aging. It is important to choose sunscreen with a high enough SPF for your skin type. I always choose a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 for my face. I also like to buy sunscreen that is made especially for faces. These kinds of sunscreens are designed to be less greasy and absorb easily, which is great for your face.

Healthy Eating Habits. You can't just rely on skincare products to make the best of your skin. Your skin is a reflection of your overall health. When you eat healthy and drink plenty of water, your skin will be in better condition and will be more resilient to the aging process.

Choose a Good Cleansing Regimen. Choosing the right cleansing routine is important for healthy skin. As your skin begins to age, you will want to choose a cleanser that is more gentle and moisturizing than you may have used in your younger years. My favorite cleanser is L'Oreal's Skin Genesis Pore Minimizing Gel Cleanser. This cleanser is the perfect combination of cleansing and gentle moisturizing. It is even gentle enough to use on the delicate eye areas.

Prevent and Treat Wrinkles With an Anti-Aging Skincare Product. Your 30s are a great time to begin looking into anti-aging products for your skin. There are many kinds of affordable anti-aging products that will really make a difference in treating and preventing wrinkles. My favorite anti-aging product line is again, the L'Oreal Skin Genesis line. This line of anti-aging products is specially designed for people in their 30s. It includes cleansers, daily treatment serum, specialized eye serum, moisturizing lotions and other products. I have tried other product lines and this is by far my favorite. The line is reasonably priced and it has definitely made a noticeable difference for my skin. L'Oreal also designs product lines for people in their 40s and 50s. Another great brand for anti-aging products is Olay. You should probably try a few products until you find the line that is best for you.

Guys could definitely use these tips, as well as anyone in their 40s or beyond. The difference would only be what product you use. While some products are general and can be effective at any age, some are specifically targeted for a certain age group or skin type. If you just look around the skin care section at any store, you'll be able to find a lot of product choices that may suit your needs.

Nice article. I love Neutrogena products. Of course, the most important (and often most forgotten) factor is what you eat! Beauty starts within.

A tad too late for me, I'm afraid, but still good tips even for the older folks! :)

Great tips! I'm not quite there yet age-wise, but I'm certainly knocking at its door. :)
