Tips on How to Improve the Health of Your Home

Having three dogs and two cats and two little grandsons I refuse to use harsh chemicals in my home. Their are several alternative natural harmless products you can use to clean and refresh your home. These are the things I use to clean my home with.

Vinegar: Using white vinegar can clean everything from your floors to your coffee pot. I use vinegar to clean my house with and also for a flea repellent for my pets. I use a mixture of 1/2 cup of vinegar to a 1/2 gallon of water to clean and disinfect my home. You can also add a little lemon for a fresh clean scent. It works great!

Lemons: I use lemons for dish washing and also for clothes washing. I also use lemons for a flea repellent and household cleaning. For a flea repellent I use 4 tablespoons of lemon and 4 tablespoons of vinegar to a 1/2 gallon of water. You can put the mixture in a spray bottle, spray your pets and furniture with this mixture. If you haven't noticed lemon is added to many dish soaps and laundry detergents.

Now for the plain healthiness of your home, for one don't smoke or let anyone else smoke inside your home. Open your windows and let some fresh clean air in as much as possible. Use natural cleaning products, and try to keep up on the dust in your home. Clean your air conditioning filters or replace them frequently.
