In general, ironing a kids uniform shirt is not as difficult as what others think. Those who are meticulous and would like to achieve perfection in ironing the uniform can consider these simple tips on how to properly iron the uniforms of their children.

First and foremost, it would be necessary to launder the kids uniform shirt and ensure that it doesn't have any stains. As soon as all stains are removed, you can already hang it to dry or place it in a dryer and let it dry.

Actually, you need to steam the kids uniform shirt so that wrinkles will be easily removed. You have to set up your ironing board. You will have to fill it up with water until it reaches the markings on the water reservoir. This is approximately one third of a cup. After that, you need to plug in your iron and the heat should be on the synthetic setting. Wait for a few minutes until the iron is already heated.

The next thing that you would have to do is to place the kids uniform shirt on its out part on the board and be sure the flip its collar. You need to iron the collar in both sides; you can do this by turning the shirt over.

Those who would like to create a crease on the kids uniform shirt can do so by folding the sleeves from the shoulder down to the seam area. To achieve a crisp line, you have to iron the fold in both sides. Do this also on the other sleeve. Once you are done with that, you can turn the shirt over and proceed with ironing the entire shirt. A good area to start is that around the collar area. You need to be careful in ironing so that no unnecessary pleats will be made. Once you are done with the back side, you can flip the shirt and iron the front side using the same procedure. Be sure to avoid causing creases or wrinkles when ironing. When the shirt has a front pocket, you have to be careful on that area.

Once you are finished with ironing, you can already hang the kids uniform shirt gently to avoid any creases or wrinkles.
