Tips for Keeping Your Husband Happy During Christmas

Christmas is a holiday for women. Guys have to survive it but it's for women to really enjoy. Often Christmas is more stressful for men than it is enjoyable. Do you want to make the man in your life truly happy this holiday? Here are some tips to make the man of your life happy during the holiday season.

Let your man watch his sports during the holiday. Sports are important to men. During the holiday season almost every man has a sport that he wants to watch. He might enjoy watching football as the playoff season approaches. The NFL often broadcasts games on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday during the month of December. College Basketball season is also heating up. There are lots of mid season tournaments and you also have conference battles like the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

Figure out what gadgets your man wants. Every man has a gadget that he wants. It could be something for his computer like a hard drive, or a a wireless keyboard or a nice flat screen monitor. Maybe he wants a more expensive item like the new iphone or one of the new ipods. Another popular item is a blue ray or hd dvd player. The list goes on. Find out what your man really want and then surprise him on Christmas Day. There are fewer things better for a man then getting the gadget he wants on Christmas.

Be realistic in your expectations. Yes you have a million places you want your man to go with you. You have a million things you want him to do around the house for Christmas. Most of us guys don't mind doing these things but sometimes we get tired! When we say we need a break, give us one. If you see we are a little tired from being at the mall with you, cut us some slack, let us sit on the bench in the mall! Whatever the case, be realistic in your expectations and cut your man some slack now and then.

Do some things that he likes. Is there a Christmas movie your man likes? Is their a Christmas movie he wants to see? Maybe he likes playing a certain game or other activity. The name of the game is compromise. If your man has been a good boy and done some things for you, let him do some things he wants as well. Even if it means you have to sit through a movie you really don't want to watch, or play a game you think is corny.

Women, this holiday season have your fun, but take care of your husband as well. A happy husband will mean a husband that is willing to return the favor.
