Password managers are the way to go when it comes to keeping track of all of your passwords. Products like Roboform Password Manager, Cyberscrubs Key Chain, and Steganos Password Manager are such software products. Another good product which works with the software programs as well as the Internet is a password manager called Sticky Passwords. The key feature of these products automates your password tracking. You just set up one user name and password that accesses the program. The software does all the work keeping track of all your websites you visit that require a password.
Another feature you can enter all your personal information for filling out forms and shopping. So it can store banking and credit card information. It encrypts all your information and since you don't type any info when you visit a website it will stop key loggers from getting your personal information. It will only enter user names and passwords at the official sites so accidentally entering your info at a phishing site will not happen. This provides good security and you don't have to worry about your information getting into the wrong hands.
Cyberscrubs Key Chain has a nice feature that will randomly generate passwords for your sites if you can't think of a good password to use. It will generate them for you and save them so when you revisit that site its entered for you automatically. If you visit a site and you can't think of a password to use you just click generate and one is created for you.
All four programs allow you save information between computers and has portability on your USB drive. So it will synchronize your information between your computer and your USB device.
These password programs run in the background and take very little of your computers resources to operate. You will hardly notice they are there until you visit websites that require you to login. They are also very easy to use and to set up.
All four password programs have a free trial version that you can use for limited time to try out. The only real difference between the three programs is the look and feel. It all depends on which password manager program that is the easiest to use for you.
