The first thing in the morning to do is to stretch your body. This way you are loose and limber and ready to tackle the day. This also takes away some of the body's physical stress. Stretch for a good five minutes. You don't even have to leave your bed. With your legs straight, point your toes downward and raise your arms over your head, straight up. Try to reach as far as you can without injuring yourself. Hold it for thirty seconds. Curl your body up in a fetal position and hold it for a few moments. It 's important that your back is relaxed. After all you really can't do anything without it. Bend your arms at the elbows and bend your legs at the knees several times each. Do this without rushing. These simple maneuvers get you ready to walk and move around with a less chance of stubbing your toe in the morning, because it not fully awake.

During the day, try to find a quiet spot with no-one around and do nothing for five minutes. Yes, nothing. Sitting down, try not to text, make a phone call, answer the phone, or even write anything down. Just sit there and do nothing. It seems that to the average person you are wasting time. Not so. This gives your brain a chance to really rest. It is the most hard working part of the whole body. You owe it at least that much. Taking a nap for fifteen minutes a day is great for the brain as well. It recharges your mind and you will feel less tired all the time. It is also a good idea to take a walk somewhere when you get off of work. Nowhere in particular, just take a ten minute stroll and enjoy what you see. Again, stay away from your phone or reading something.

Getting a professional massage every three weeks is great for your body to relax. For most people stress goes right to the head, shoulders and back. It is very recommended that you usually get a massage in the areas. Can't afford one? There are massage places in malls that are reasonably priced. Some fitness centers have massage areas.

A jacuzzi is an awesome way to relax. You just sit in a hot tub with bubbles for about fifteen to twenty minutes and your whole body will literally fall asleep. That is why it is recommended that you stay no more that twenty minutes, you could fall asleep! I wish i had access to a sauna. A sauna is a room filled with steam. You sit or lay in the room with a towel wrapped around your midsection and relax. This cost a bit of money though.

A good work out or playing a sport for an hour is a good way to relax as well. It may seem that you are getting sweaty and worked up, but afterworlds your body is relieved of a lot of stress and therefore is relaxed afterwards. Another way to relax is to make love. Seriously. Endorphins are released in the body as you do, and this makes you feel good and relaxed.

Massaging your temples when your brain is over worked helps you to relax and thus think clearly.

One of the most obvious ways to relax is- sleep! You have make sure that you get a solid seven to eight hours of sleep a day. A key to this is to go to sleep at the same time all the time. This puts your body in a routine. It would be wise also to eat a light meal before you go to bed. You don't want your body working as it is trying to rest.

Drinking tea can be relaxing. Make sure it has no caffeine though.

You can also sit back and enjoy listening to classical music. It's probably best to listen to stringed instruments and the piano. Any drums or fast tempos will just get you riled up. When you listen to the music, try to feel every note. Try to think of what the music is trying to say to you.
