These are the things to use in cleaning them. Some of the items for cleaning are water, vinegar, soap and window cleaner. Other things to use are dryer sheets, dusting cloth or dry cloth. To make the leaves shine the things needed are baby oil, cooking oil or any spray furniture polish. Another is the furniture polish Endust is good to use. The baby oil and cooking oil will work better if put into a spray bottle. In addition, if the leaves are large the furniture polish spray will work better.
Begin by washing the plants with the water with vinegar added, soap or window cleaner first. If using anyone of the others instead of water rinse the plant off. Now turn them with the flower down in sink to let any water that may be in the pot or basket drain dry. The pot or basket will need to drain anyway. Then take a dry cloth, dryer sheet or dusting cloth to dry it. Be sure to wipe the plants dry too.
Now that the plants are dry it is time to make them look new by making them shine. Do this by using the baby oil, cooking oil or the furniture polish spray on the plants. After spraying them with one of these sprays, it will be time to wipe it down again.
Wipe them down by using a dusting cloth, dryer sheet or just a plain dry cloth. This will take the excess oil or polish off. Now the plant is ready to hang it up or sit in its place. When they begin to look old that will be a sign to clean them another time.
These tips will help keep your artificial plants looking fresh and new. In addition, dusty or dirty plants are not to appealing to look at. This will help to keep down health problems too.
