~ Make sure that you thoroughly wash all vegetables and fruit that you will be eating. During pregnancy your immune system is weaker then usual and it is harder for your body to fight off infection.
~ Choose a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, and proteins.
Eating too much of one thing could prove to be a problem such as fiber etc you will be even more uncomfortable.
~ Eating a wide variety of things while you are pregnant can have an adverse effect also, eat what you know and are familiar with.
~ A great way to get your nutrients and pack a punch is juicing you can mix a lot of different veggies and fruit together and even make smoothies a great tasting way to get the things that you need.
~ Instead of eating fats like butter, oils, etc choose nuts and avocados they will replace that craving for fatty foods should you have them.
~ For ice cream cravings there are many soy based variety's available that are better for you, and will satisfy your craving.
~ Craving something salty? You can switch out potato chips, pretzels and "junk food" for tomatoes and mineral rich sea weeds.
~ Maybe something a little sweet? Dried fruits mango's and honey will zap that sweet craving away. When choosing a dried fruit make sure that it is organic a lot of dried fruit has added sweeteners, and shelf stabilizers.
