If you just recently bought a PSP or if you've had one already for a while and you're wondering how to put your computer music into it, you're going to learn today! In this article I will walk your through the process of adding music from your MyMusic folder in your computer to your PSP. This will allow you to be able to hear it wherever you want, whenever you want. I will also include some tips towards the end, to help you out some more during the process you're going to have to take probably more than a couple of times.

Steps:
- Open up the PSP folder by going to MyComputer, and then selecting the portable device folder that you recognize as your PSP folder.

- Open up your MyMusic folder by going to Start, looking for it there, if not looking for it inside the MyDocuments folder.

- Drag the music you want into your PSP folder or copy and paste it there.

- Unplug your PSP from the computer, turn it on, and see verify that you music is in there now and working.

Tips:
Tip1 : Have your music named correctly so that it appears that way on your PSP. If you don't have your music named correctly, right click on it, and chose to rename it.

Tip2 : Wait till your computer detects your PSP; sometimes it does an auto run and you'll be able to open up the PSP folder from there.

Tip3 : Count how many songs fit into your PSP, so that in the future you can have an estimate of how many sons you can replace or add.

Tip4 : Add your music in album folders or in the order that you want them to be played on your PSP; this will allow you to have your music more organized so that when you feel like editing it, it won't be such a drag.

Now that you have learned the steps to adding music to your PSP, go ahead and do it! It's really easy, and usually the memory card that your PSP comes with can at least hold 20-25 songs, if not more. If you're wondering how you can get your music from Limewire or another peer-to-peer sharing program, it's easy. Just go into the settings of the file sharing program and adjust your music to go into your MyMusic folder, as opposed to the Shared Folder that's created if you don't chose one yourself.
