1.Drink at least 7-8 glasses of water a day to flush out any toxins in the body and hydrate the skin. Once in a while indulge in a nice relaxing aroma massage or facial. Cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin twice a day and avoid using soaps, which are too harsh for the skin and can be very drying. Apply facemask once a week depending on your skin type. You should also exfoliate once- twice a week to remove dead skin cells.
2. Increase intake of oily fish, nuts & seeds ,which are rich sources of Omega fatty acids, to provide you with a glowing skin.
3.These following herbs are known for purifying the blood. Blood purification plays an important role in maintaining a healthy and glowing skin: Leaves of Neem and Holy Basil, Dandelion and Burdock root, Goldenseal, etc. Daily consumption of these herbs in form of readily available supplements can really go a long way in maintaining a healthy skin.
4.Try these easy to make face masks at home:
Make a paste of 6 Neem leaves,6 Basil leaves,6 Mint leaves,1 Camphor piece with 1 teaspoon of fresh Lemon juice. Add to this paste, half teaspoon of turmeric powder and half teaspoon of Aloe vera gel. Mix to make a uniform paste and add one teaspoon of fullers earth. After mixing all this together, apply the face pack on your face, wait for fifteen minutes till the paste dries out.
Mix 1 teaspoon of cucumber juice,1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of fresh yoghurt to 2 teaspoon of fullers earth and apply this paste on your face and leave it for 15 minutes before washing off. Make a paste of orange peel and add 1 teaspoon of the paste and 1 teaspoon of honey to 2 teaspoon of fullers earth, apply this paste on your face and leave it for 15 minutes before washing off. Wash your face thoroughly.
5.You can also try these simple home remedies for a glowing and radiant skin:
Mash a banana with milk and leave it on your face for twenty minutes and then wash off with cold water.
Mix egg white with honey and apply it on your face and leave it for twenty minutes. Wash off with cold water.
Rub a piece of chilled Papaya over your face and wash off after five minutes.
Make a paste by mixing a teaspoon of turmeric powder in an orange juice. Apply this paste on your face and leave it for fifteen minutes before washing it out.
