The first thing you need to realize is that your new puppy is just a baby. You don't expect human babies to be intelligent and know everything the moment they are born right? Well, the same thing happens with puppies. Your puppy is going to be dumb at first, so you need to be patient with it. Don't punish it when it doesn't obey you or poop in inappropriate places; this behavior can be corrected eventually with some training.
Many people believe we are what we eat, but dogs are not different. Choose your Chihuahua's food carefully because not all food fits all dogs. There is food for big dogs, adults, puppies, small breeds, active dogs, and so on. You need to choose a food with a high meat content and designed especially for puppies. Food made for puppies may contain milk and is sometimes softer and smaller than regular dog food; this helps our baby Chihuahua digest better its food and be healthier overall. Be careful to not over feed it, because it can become fat and this can cause several health problems.
Remember that your new puppy is small and fragile. Several dogs such as Great Danes or Dobermans are big and strong and you can play rough with them even at a young age. The case is different with Chihuahuas, even when they are adult they are very fragile, so you need to be careful when handling them.
Training is necessary if you want to develop a good relationship with your dog. One problem Chihuahuas have is that they are not amongst the brightest dogs, so you need a lot of persistence if you want to train them. If you decide to train your dog, you are up for long hours of frustration, but at the end, the results are worth it. Basic training will improve your dog's behavior and will help you establish a healthier relationship with it.
This includes potty training. Once the puppy has enough age to control elimination, you must place him where you want it to poop just after each meal. This will develop a good habit and the behavior will continue for a long time.

Well, one problem you have is that you're an idiot. Don't write an article about a breed that you obviously don't know anything about. TOOL. It's idiots like you and your opinions that give breeds a bad name, punk.
