Tips on Recession Proofing Your Life

C.B. Jones
-Use a Pay As You Go cell phone service(or ditch your cell phone in general to save money).

-Stock up on Ramen. It's flexible, tasty and cheap.

-If you are active in an online community and have a good reputation with the regulars, ask for donations to your PayPal account.

-Adopt a new means of transportation. Take the bus, hitch a ride from a friend, lasso a car and ride behind it on a skate board, etc.

-Learn how to breakneck as a way of earning extra money in your free time. It's good exercise, plus it's entertaining and can brighten peoples day.

-Shop for used clothing online or at a local swap meat.

-Become a helpful contributor in the community. Ask neighbors if they have any odd jobs you could do or help with(for a small fee).

-Map out your projected expenses at the beginning of the month. Make note of things you NEED, and things you WANT. If it's not a necessity, it's not a top priority.

-Recycle. Reuse those plastic bags, cups, jars, etc.

-Don't buy drinks for everything pretty in a skirt. Remember fellas, looking is always free.
