Coffee is

Americas Vicodin in the brewing world. Coffee is what America uses for their morning kick, usually to start their day off. The only thing is that if you are in America's working society, you know that spending $3.50 a day adds up. If you spend on average $3.50 a day for 31 days, that adds up to $108.50 a cup. Spending one-hundred-eight dollars a month means that your coffee budget for the year adds up to $1,302.00 dollars a year.

In this economy, spending over one thousand dollars a month is way to much for the average American, especially when it can be saved up for something else. Being a coffee enthusiast, or addict, I can help.

The first thing that you need to notice is that you can make coffee yourself, it takes a whopping five minutes or less. If your coffee maker has an automatic timer, than you can wake up to your coffee brewing in the morning, if you prepare it at night. It will save you time in the morning if you usually stop at your favorite coffee shop.

The most famous coffee shops have coffee beans that you can buy and brew yourself. For instance, I went to Costco, and bought a large 40 oz bag of Dunkin Donuts original brand. This bag brews about 135 cups of coffee, total cost, $15.99. On the back of the bag of coffee if also gives you," to achieve that great Dunkin' Donuts taste", this is great for you Dunkin' Donut coffee lovers.

First off the a big 40 oz bag could supply you with almost 135 cups of coffee a day. Secondly, your best coffee brands usually sell their coffee beans pre-grounded. Thirdly it will take minutes to make, and if one of your goals this New Years' is to save money this would be one good way to start. Lastly, these easy steps will save you over seven hundred dollars in coffee costs. Costco, SamsClub, or any Wholesale store carries the best ground coffee, at a price that will not bust your wallet.

An easier way to keep track of your coffee spending is to use a white board that ahs a calendar, or your daily agenda and add up your coffee cup total that your spend per day. It will be easier to notice the amount you spend on coffee if you look at it everyday. I hope that these tips will help you realize how much money is spent on a dark cup of coffee. Happy New Years & make your resolutions wisely!
