The entertainment area would be a good place to start next. Organize this with a entertainment center or cabinet in which you can store your movies, games, remotes, and TV guides. This would be a good time to sort through these items that you haven't used. If you haven't used these items Ina year or longer now would be a good time to get rid of these to avoid clutter.
Now comes the most dreaded part in the house, the kitchen. You usually have stuff put in spots you forgot you ever had. First go through your cookware cabinet. If you have dented pots and pans or something rarely used, pitch it. Use some of this new found space to store counter items such as toasters and can openers. Purchase a set of hanging hooks to hang inside of your cabinet to use for measuring spoons and cups
Let's walk into the bathroom. What do we see? Is this room a cluttered mess that is often neglected? Use your vanity drawers and cabinets to put some dividers in. Use your medicine cabinet for everyday grooming items such as deodorant, razors, lotions, and Q-Tips. Keep all your bath needs in a handy tote or box. A way to keep your bathroom shiny is to keep mirrors and faucets wiped clean. This is always a quick spruce up.
While doing all of this, pull all those winter curtains down and replace them with something springy or just wash the ones you have hanging and possibly rearrange from room to room. Don't forget to wash those windows and those fans that harbor all those dust bunnies all winter. Now you are ready to sit back and spring into Spring.
