Tips and Tricks to Hell's Kitchen on Facebook

Based on the popular reality show featuring Chef Gordon Ramsey, Hell's Kitchen is now an exciting new game on Facebook. The game has a fast-paced, arcade style format that lets players prep ingredients, cook dishes and compete against their Facebook friends. It also features a digital avatar of Chef Ramsey who yells out his typical insults throughout each round. The game caught my eye since I have always loved the television show. At first, I expected the game to be quite cheesy, but was pleasantly surprised how fun and addictive it is. Here are some tips and tricks that helped me get the best score out of all my Facebook friends.

Rules of Hell's Kitchen

The rules of the game are simple. Prep ingredients, cook the dishes that appear on your screen and move completed dishes to the server table . Your score is determined by the number of stars that you accumulate during the round. Each meal that you prepare is ranked 1-5 stars. Every dish must be completed with at least 1 star or it's game over.

Tips and Tricks to Hell's Kitchen on Facebook - Prep, Prep, Prep

Prepping ingredients is probably the most important skill to master if you want to get a high score in Hell's Kitchen. If the ingredients are not prepared, they cannot be sent to the stove to be cooked. There are six ingredients used in Hell's Kitchen. The ingredients are in white bowls that are identified by different colored stripes - pink, black, red, green, blue, and yellow. To prep an ingredient, click on each bowl. Once the prep stage is activated, you will see the ingredients begin to float or spin above the bowl. The prepared ingredients will fill the bowl when complete.

Tip - While you can click on multiple bowls to begin prep work, The ingredients will only be completed one at a time. Keep in mind that they will be completed in the order that they are clicked. If you need one ingredient before another, be sure the click the one you need first.

Tip - In later levels, some dishes will call for more than one ingredient. You must have both ingredients in the pot in order for the counter on the stove to begin counting down. In order to save prep time, go ahead and dump the first ingredient in and prep a new round of the ingredient so that it is ready for the next dish.

Tips and Tricks to Hell's Kitchen on Facebook - Coordinate Cooking Time

Each meal has 2 or 3 courses. In order to receive a perfect 5 stars, all of the dishes need to complete cooking within seconds of each other. As dishes sit on the server table waiting for the rest of the food, their star count slowly decreases. If all dishes are not completed in time, the game will end.Keep track of your cook times by watching the timers on the stoves and ovens.

Tip - When the recipes get more complex, you will need to focus and formulate a better strategy each round. If you need a second to think, click on the pause button at the top of the screen. Take a moment to mentally plan out your strategy before resuming your game.

Tip - In later rounds, you will be cooking up to 6 dishes each using multiple ingredients. Since you can only have one bowl of each ingredient prepped at a time, you will need to watch for dishes that need the same ingredients to make sure that you coordinate your time accordingly.

I know that I am going to be called every name in the book and my goal is to stop the abuse by getting the food out quickly so that way my feelings are not going to be hurt too bad and I know if I work well in each area and work flawlessly and get it served in record time with every one then chef gordon ramsay will not pick on me too badly but I know he is going to do the fat jokes and that will not get me down, it is only 6 weeks of abuse for a job that is going to take care of my family, I can handle it and of course I can handle the attacks from the team members I will make the best of the time I get there and value each day at the place and I will not let other things get to me of course I can calm down and feel as ease with music and good movies I can chill and take it easy and most of all have
