Tips, Tricks, and Hints to Nightfall: Bloodlines for Facebook

Nightfall: Bloodlines is an exciting web-based vampire game for Facebook. The game allows players to build a powerful clan with their friends, compete missions, and battle rival clans. Hopefully this guide will provide you with the tips you need to be a successful Bloodlines player.

Growing your Clan - Your network of friends who play Bloodlines will be your greatest asset in dominating the vampire world. Many of the missions require you to have a certain number of friends in order to complete it. It also becomes difficult, especially in the higher levels, to fight other clans when yours is small.

Tip #1 - Be sure to send out as many friend requests as possible. If you are having trouble getting your friends to join your clan, you should consider purchasing zombies from the Cabal using your favor points. Read this article for more ways to grow your clan quickly and effectively.

Missions - Completing missions is an important part of Bloodlines. This gives you the opportunity to earn cash, experience points, and other unique companions and items. If you plan on spending most of your time doing missions, try to allocate most of your skill points to increase your energy level. This will allow you to complete more missions without having to wait long periods to generate more energy.

Tip #1 - At the top of your game screen, you will see the darkness meter. This pretty much tells you whether you are a good vampire or evil vampire. Some missions add points to and some subtract from your darkness score. Try to focus on missions that either add or subtract darkness points to earn the light and darkness medals. Once you have earned one of the platinum medals, start working your way the other direction.

Tip #2 - Some of the one-time-only missions unlock pieces of game story line. To read the pieces that you have unlocked, go to the journal tab to read them.

Tip #3 - As you progress through the game, you will unlock new locations. These new locations come with new missions and access to additional companions and items. Scroll to the bottom of the missions tab to see what travel opportunities are currently available.

Companions - Companions supply your vampire with a fresh supply of blood and help you complete certain missions.

Tip #1 - In the game, blood is used as a form of currency. Without it, you will not be able to purchase items. Each time you purchase a companion, the price for the next increases. To save blood, purchase your companions in bulk. Always purchase the maximum of 10 at a time.

Tips #2 - Many of the companions require a certain number of vampire members to oversee. Once you assign one member to oversee a companion, they cannot oversee another. For this reason, you should focus on growing your clan and allocated them wisely.

The Cabal - As you achieve milestones in your vampire career, the Cabal of the Arcane will grant you favor points. You can cash these points in for bonus blood, zombie clan members, or refills on energy, chi, or health.

Tip #1 - As you progress through the game, various special items will become available that can only be purchased using favor points. Since there are only a certain number of these points that you can earn in the game, make sure that you spend them wisely and hang onto them as long as possible.

Tips #2 - Each time you complete a new achievement, you will be granted a medal and a favor point. Be sure to check out your stats page to see what achievements you have completed. Hover your mouse pointer over each medal to see what you need to accomplish in order to unlock the next.

Fighting and Powers - Fighting other clans is a great opportunity to earn blood and experience points. This is probably the best way to level up quickly. During a fight, each clan can bring 5 members for each level. For example, level 3 vampires can bring 15 members to a fight. Each clan member that engages in the fight can bring one of each of the physical, sensory, and mystical powers.

Tip #1 - As long as you have 5 members for each of you levels, you can easily match up to any clan regardless of their size. If you are in level 10, you can only take 50 members to a fight. Even though your opponent may have 100 members, they can only bring 50 to the fight because of their level.

Tips #2 - Having the best power items come in handy when fighting. Unfortunately, many of the better powers have an hourly upkeep. Make sure that you have a good blood flow that will cover these costs. If you have a negative hourly upkeep, you may end up loosing your powers because you are unable to pay for them.

Whether you are new to Facebook or web-based gaming, Bloodlines can offer a fun and challenging experience. When I began playing Bloodlines, I had many questions. Hopefully this guide will help you get off to a good start.
