While Robin Hood is pretty straight forward to play, there are some tips and tricks to getting ahead in the game. Here is a guide that will help you learn how to properly use your limited resources, win fights, and gather special items for huge bonuses.

Your Robin Hood Stats

Before discussing the tips for Robin Hood, it is important that you understand your game stats in the green bar at the top of your screen.

Coins - These are your currency in Robin Hood. You can earn coins by completing quests or fighting against rival Facebook bands.

Tip - Coins can be taken from you during a fight. Keep your coins safe by storing them in your bank account. However, be aware that the bank charges a 10 percent fee every time you deposit coins.

Health - You must keep a high health level in order to fight against other bands. If you health is too low, you will be unable to fight until you let your health recharge over time or pay the healer to restore your health immediately.

Energy - Energy is used to complete quests. It will recharge over time. If you plan on spending most of your time completing quests, you should be sure to allocate a majority of your skill points to increase your max energy level.

Stamina - Your stamina determines how often you can fight rival bands. Players who fight often should use their skill points to increase their max stamina.

Experience Points - As you earn experience points, you will increase your level. With each level comes better quests and equipment in the armory. Your experience meter shows how many points you have earned and how many you need to reach the next level.

Your Robin Hood Band

The more of your Facebook friends that you have in your band, the more powerful your band will become. Large bands have a better chance at winning fights and are eligible to complete more quests. To send requests to your friends, click on the band tab. You will see a complete list of your Facebook friends. Check the ones who you would like to invite and click the send Robin Hood invitation button.

Tip - If you Facebook friends aren't responding well to you mass invite, consider sending individual personalized invitations. Your friends may me more receptive to this method.

Tip - If you've run out of Facebook friends to invite, you can also acquire additional family members from the mage. For 20 favor credits, you can increase your band size by two.

Robin Hood Quests

In the game, your band can earn extra coins, experience points, and special items from completing quests. As you progress through the levels, more quests will become available.

Tip - Complete a quest multiple times to achieve quest mastery. This will unlock special bonuses such as increases to max health and energy.

Tip - As you complete quests, you will randomly unlock special items to collect. Once you have gathered all of the items in the collection, you will be able to open a corresponding vault. Each vault has a special bonus inside. Go to the collections and vault tab on the armory page to see what you have collected so far. You can also add needed items to your wish list. If your Facebook friends have the item, they may give it to you as a gift.

Fighting Against Rival Facebook Bands

The true master of Sherwood Forest will be able to dominate any foe. In the game, you can put your Robin Hood band up against other rival bands in fierce fights. The number of members in your band will greatly affect whether you win or lose. Robin Hood allows you to take up to 501 band members into a fight. Each of these members can take with them one weapon, one piece of armor, and one transportation item.

Tip - Make sure that you have at lease one of each item type for band members. This will ensure that you are getting the most power out of your band. Also check out the special items that are available from the mage. These items are usually a lot more powerful than typical items that you will find in the armory.

Tip - You can even attack your Facebook Friends who do not play Robin Hood. Non-players are labeled with the wandering traveler tag under their name on the fight screen. These are usually an easy win since they don't have any weapons or other equipment.

Purchasing Land in Robin Hood

In Robin Hood, power is money. Bands with large amounts of cash can purchase the best weapons, armor, and transportation. These items can then be used to fight other bands and complete more lucrative quests. While you can gain a good amount of money from fighting and completing quests, you should create a steady cash flow by purchasing land.

Tip - Every time you purchase a piece of land, the price for the next increases. Purchase your land in lots of 10 to lock in the price for each piece. Although it may take a little while to save up the money, it will save you a lot in the long run.

Tip - Make sure that you are getting the most from your money by selecting land wisely. Use this formula to get the greatest return on investment: (Hourly Income) ΒΈ (Land Price). The land that gives you the highest value is the best buy.

The Mage

As you reach milestones in your Robin Hood career, you will be granted favor credits from the mage. You can then use these credits to receive special items, refills of your stats, additional band members, or more coins.

Tip - Since there are only a limited number of them, hold onto your favor credits as long as possible. Also, be sure that you don't waste them on items that you can get without spending credits. For example, don't waste your favor credits on coins since you can easily get them from purchasing some land.

Tip - You can also get lots of credits quickly by completing offers through the Robin Hood app. Don't waste your time on ones that cost money. Instead, check out the free offers and surveys for no-cost favor credits.

Robin Hood for Facebook is both fun and easy to play. It is a great way for you and your Facebook friends to connect and interact. Hopefully, this guide will help you learn some of the tips, tricks, and hints to getting ahead in the game as you journey on a quest to dominate the Sherwood Forest.
