Tips and Tricks to (Lil) Farm Life for Facebook

Brandon Miller
(Lil) Farm Life for Facebook is a fun farming game that lets players design a farm, manage crops, and connect with their Facebook friends. Here are some tips and tricks to help you become the most successful virtual farmer on the web.

(Lil) Farm Life Coins

Coins are the currency of (Lil) Farm Life. You can use the coins to purchase crops, animals, and buildings. Growing crops is the primary source of coins; however, there are several alternative methods. Here are some tips and tricks to racking up big time cash.

Tip - Check out the partner offers by clicking on the Earn Coins tab. Many of the offers require you to complete a purchase. However, there are a bunch of free offers such as signing up for free samples or taking a survey. You can easily earn several thousand coins from these offers.

Tip - Complete quests to earn extra coins. Most quests pay 100 coins plus experience points. See the next section for more details on quests.

Tip - Periodically, message will appear to let you know that another player needs help with their farm. If you decide to help, you will be rewarded with 15 coins plus experience points.

(Lil) Farm Life Quests

In addition to planting and harvesting crops, you can also complete quests for extra coins and experience points. In addition, you will also be rewarded with a trophy to show off to your neighbors. Click on the blue book to see what quests are available.

Tip - Rewards for a quest are not automatically given to you. Once you complete the requirements for a quest, you will need to click the claim reward button under that quest.

Tip - Some quests are easier than others. Do the friendly farmer quest first for a quick coin payoff. You simply need to take a specified number of pictures of your farm and post them to your Facebook wall.

(Lil) Farm Life Neighbors

The most important tip is to grow your list of (Lil) Farm Life neighbors by sending requests to your Facebook friends. Not only can you help your neighbors with chores for extra coins and experience points, you can also give and receive free items such as plants, trees, and animals.

Tip - To send invites to your Facebook friends, click on the Invite tab. Select some of your friends from the list and click the Send Invitation button. If you run out of people to invite, join a Facebook group dedicated to helping players connect and grow their neighbor list.

Tip - Be an active neighbor. The more gifts that you send to your Facebook friends, the more you are likely to receive. Also, gift giving is a great way to acquire items that your higher level friends have unlocked, but you have not.

Choosing Crops for your Farm

Crops are the most important aspect of (Lil) Farm Life. They are the main source of your generated income. To plant a crop, click on the patch of tilled ground and purchase an item from the list. Once the crops have matured, click on the crop to harvest and sell the produce.

Tip - In the beginning, you should focus on regular crops to grow your wealth. Regular crops generate more income in a shorter amount of time. However, after a while, start purchasing more fruit trees. Trees generate lower incomes but they only need to be purchased once. In the end, you will earn a greater return on investment from trees.

Tip - It is important to know how to get the most out of each crop that you select. Use this formula to select the crop with the greatest return: (Income) - (Cost) รท (Number of Hours to Grow). Select the crop with the highest score. Note: This does not apply to trees since they generate indefinite income.

Tip - Keep time in mind when you are planting crops. You don't want to plant strawberries (which take 4 hours to grow) before you go to bed and find them spoiled when you get home from work the following night. Spoiled crops are a huge waste of coins. Instead, buy trees since their fruit does not spoil.

Whether you are new to Facebook or an experienced online gamer, (Lil) Farm Life is guaranteed to please. Hopefully, this guide will help you grow your farm quickly and efficiently.
