1. Use the Website
Ordering tickets at the gate at full price is a quite silly idea in anything Disney related. Disney.com offers ticket purchases ahead of time for about 5% off gate price.
2. Look into the packages
Depending on what you plan to do, Disney usually offers packages that are cheaper than the standard gate price. If you plan on hopping from park to park during your spring break vacation, check out the park hopper package.
3. Check ebay and related websites
Many people will buy multiple day passes only to leave the park before all of the days are used. One of the most unknown tactics for saving money at Disney World, and especially during busy times like Spring Break is to search for tickets on ebay.com.
4. Use your entertainment card
Getting a decent hotel early is very important when visiting Disney World during Spring Break. Using the entertainment card, you can save anywhere from 10$ to over 100$ on hotels. If you were avoiding expensive hotels due to the cost of Disney World, this may give you more options.
5. Prepare for the weather
It pretty much goes without saying that Disney World during Spring Break will be quite hot. Plan ahead of time with clothing that suits the weather, as prices on accessories inside the gates are quite inflated.
6. Stay at a Disney Hotel
Staying at a Disney hotel not only enhances you experience of the whole Disney scenery, but it enables you to use the transit system for free. Shuttle busses come quite frequently to these hotels and it's a giant money saver to not pay for transportation.
7. Try not to buy inside
While you may be unable to overcome your urges to splurge on souvenirs inside the park, keep in mind that stores outside of Disney World carry these same souvenirs at a fraction of the price. Look to stores such as local Walmarts or Targets to find these souvenirs.
8. Avoid paying for individual passes.
This goes without saying really. If you plan on visiting more than one park during your Spring Break vacation at Disney World, definately look into a pass that accomadates every park you plan to visit. Individual park prices are a total rip-off when package prices are around.
9. Bring snacks
Munching on cheap snacks that you brought with you will allow you to stave off hunger and avoid the park Disney World prices. Snacks inside the park are incredibly expensive and frankly not world the price.
10. Last but not least.... BRING WATER
You will be very hot at Disney World during Spring Break. Water is one of the best ways to not only stave off hunger, but keep cool. Water inside the Disney World parks ranges from $1.50 at the very lowest to about $5.00. In my experience, the average water bottle inside Disney World parks cost about $3.00. It is a great money saver to bring your own cheap 20 cent water bottles from wal mart.
