When inside your journey will include a stroll through full-scale recreations of some of Titanic's most famous rooms. You will see the Grand Staircase, the boilers and a first class parlor suite. Plus the visit the to Promenade Deck will take your breath away as you imagine the wonder and beauty of the sea guests aboard the ship saw during their voyage. Also on the Promenade Deck you will be able to look up at the stars as you feel a chill in the Atlantic air.
The attractions inside were only part of what made my Titanic Experience memorable. It was the characters that joined you during your tour. A visit from Capt. Smith and Molly Brown made the experience seem much more real. Dressed in complete period costumes, they told stories to the guests. The stories they shared explained the feel of the ship that night and other historical information.
The final part of my tour included a visit to the Underwater Room. There you are able to see an 8-foot replica of the Titanic, but not as she was when she set sail. You are able to see how she is resting at the bottom of the Atlantic.
During your trip to the Titanic - The Experience you will also be able to see more than 200 artifacts and other memorabilia from James Cameron's TITANIC. There is also a new Dive Area and Captain's Bridge added to the tour.
Cost of admission for adults is $19.95; adults ages 55 and older is $17.95; children ages 3 to 11 is $1295 and admission for children ages 2 and under is free. Titanic - The Experience is open daily from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. If you order your tickets on line at www.titanictheexperience.com and you will save $2 per ticket.
